The Trauma of a Spider Bite

What's been happening lately in the Handke home?

Just after Jerod visited us, Luke and I went on a bike ride on the Minuteman Trail. We had a great time. The weather was beautiful, and we rode for several hours. We even visited several historical locations and observed some Park Rangers relive Revolutionary times.

When we arrived home, I realized that I had been bit by something, and we later realized that it was a spider. The bite kept getting worse, so I had to visit the doctor. Now, it's healing, but I also have some sort of nasty rash that's spreading. It's not fun having to take all kinds of medicine and staying at home when I want to get outside and ride my bike. Well, I hope this all disappears soon, so life can get back to normal.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Watch out for those nasty spiders and that green plant with three leaves. They'll get you every time. Also, be sure to wear some sort of bug repellant when you're outside.
